The Assam government is evaluating proposals from 13 companies, including Tata Advanced Systems, Bharat Electronics Ltd and space tech startups Pixxel and Agnikul Cosmos, for its planned Earth observation satellite system.

According to official records reviewed by Moneycontrol, the companies have been marked "Admitted-Fee/PreQual/Technical/Finance" in the bid-opening records. This indicates that they have cleared the listed stages of the evaluation process.
