The US State of Idaho is full of genuinely dangerous men - if you are a fucking criminal. Jordan, the man that drove off the Idaho In-N-Out shooter, is an Idaho native, born and raised. Two other bravehearts engaged the shooter before Jordan finally drove the guy away from the crowds and cars stuck in traffic that the coward fucking shooter was hosing with bullets.
One important thing to note about Idaho: a lot of citizens carry, they have been trained in combat pistol craft and have the guts to stand up. In northern Idaho this is extremely true and it is why there is much less property crime, robberies, home invasions and gangs. Essentially most households in North Idaho are armed to the teeth.
It also bleeds into my home state of Washington on the east side. The laws are much stricter in Washington but they carry anyway. "Better to be judged by Twelve than to be carried by Six"
To be able to do what this man did you need training and practice. Shooting at paper targets is important because when the shit hits the fan - your good habits are the only thing you can count on.
