Blacksmith just sucked up 45 mil to babyproof cloud testing because apparently devs are too lazy to wait for their own broken code to compile. Peak XV is holding the bag now while this thing hits a 550 mil valuation on nothing but hype and a promise to fix GitHub Actions. My shoes are wet. If the AI keeps spitting out garbage code at this pace we are just going to see these guys build a bigger landfill for bad commits. The real trade is if they actually replace the engineers or just give them a faster way to ship bugs into production.
