They say royalties doubled on data centers, but how much is actual growth versus just moving the goalposts? The Armv9 move is forcing everyone into their ecosystem. You pay the tax or you get left behind in the dirt. It is a slow squeeze. If they hit that 2 billion AGI chip target, the x86 crowd is going to be holding heavy bags while Arm writes the rules of the road. My desk is covered in crumbs.
