Another day another layer of derivatives built on a house that keeps adding stories to its basement. The sec says this brings safety but it really just gives institutional players a cleaner way to hedge their exposure while the retail crowd gets picked off in the order flow. The cftc is still holding the bag on final clearance which means the bureaucrats are busy arguing over who gets to keep the lights on in this digital circus. I need a nap. If they really wanted to fix the market they would stop pretending that aggregating data from shady spot venues makes the underlying index anything less than a mirror of the same manipulation we have seen for years. Markets are rigged.
