Liquid Network has reported a security incident involving the withdrawal of approximately 4,000 BTC worth $320 million from its Federation wallet.
The Bitcoin sidechain has been temporarily paused while Blockstream and federation members investigate and work to restore normal activity.
The white-hat hacker is now communicating with network maintainers on-chain and says the BTC will be returned once the vulnerability is fixed, although the funds have not been returned yet.
