Poland’s crypto regulation just hit another roadblock.
Parliament failed to override President Karol Nawrocki’s veto, leaving the country without the proposed regulatory framework.
Nawrocki opposed the bill over concerns about compliance costs and the powers it would give authorities, including the ability to block websites. The debate comes as prosecutors investigate Polish exchange Zondacrypto over suspected fraud and money laundering involving losses of at least 350 million PLN.
