📌 Ramon Magsaysay Award 2026 — CAPF Paper I
The Ramon Magsaysay Award, often called “Asia’s Nobel Prize”, has honoured three individuals in 2026:
🇸🇬 Tommy Koh (Singapore) – Lawyer & diplomat; recognised for international cooperation, rule of law and diplomacy. He played a key role in the 1982 UNCLOS conference.
🇧🇩 Runa Khan (Bangladesh) – Founder of Friendship Bangladesh; works with climate-vulnerable communities through healthcare, education, livelihoods and women’s empowerment.
🇲🇲 Bo Kyi (Myanmar) – Human-rights activist and co-founder of AAPP; works for political prisoners and their families and documents human-rights violations.
