🔺Here are golden formulas (templates + strategies) that help you speak fluently and naturally in IELTS Speaking to reach Band 7+, especially for Parts 2 and 3. These are not robotic scripts — they give your speech structure and flow, while keeping it natural and spontaneous.
🟡 1. Opinion Formula (Part 3)
Use this to answer questions asking for your opinion:
Formula:
"Well, I personally believe that... One reason is that... Another point worth mentioning is... For example..."
Example:
"Well, I personally believe that learning a foreign language is essential. One reason is that it helps with communication in today’s global world. Another point worth mentioning is that it improves job prospects. For example, my friend got hired in an international company just because he spoke fluent French."
🟡 2. Past Experience Formula (Part 2 or 3)
Use this to describe something from your past fluently:
Formula:
"I remember vividly when... At that time... What happened was... In the end..."
Example:
"I remember vividly when I visited Cappadocia with my family. At that time, I was about 17. What happened was, we took a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. In the end, it became one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life."
🟡 3. Compare and Contrast Formula (Part 3)
Use this when asked to compare two things or how things change over time.
Formula:
"In the past,... but nowadays,... This shift happened because... On the other hand..."
Example:
"In the past, people used to write letters to stay in touch, but nowadays, everyone prefers texting or video calling. This shift happened because of the rise in technology. On the other hand, traditional communication had a more personal
touch."
