Perceptron Network: Turning Idle Bandwidth Into AI Training Data
Perceptron Network, formerly Block Mesh Network, is a decentralized AI data network where contributors run lightweight browser or mobile nodes to share idle bandwidth and complete data quests, earning $PERC tokens and reputation-based rewards in return. The network positions itself between limited centralized scraping tools and closed data partnerships most AI startups can't access.
Perceptron closed a $6.5 million strategic round on July 30, 2026, backed by Sigma Capital, Selini Capital, QCP Capital, P2 Ventures, CoinDCX Ventures, and a dozen other Web3 investors and infrastructure partners. The network is currently live across roughly 700,000–800,000+ nodes in over 150 countries, with 300,000+ daily active contributors, and is targeting a longer-term scale of 5 million nodes as its Data Questing platform rolls out through 2026 and 2027.
