Situation on the western flank of Orekhov, Zaporozhye Oblast:As Russian forces continue to expand their zone of control in the area of Pavlovka and Shcherbaky, Russian DRGs were detected northeast of Novoyakovlevka, west of Novopavlovka, and within southwestern Novopavlovka itself. This threatens Ukrainian logistics moving down the road leading from Yurkovka - one the last usable routes to resupply Orekhov.
Heavy fighting continues on approach to Novopavlovka, where Russian forces are working to capture the forests west of the village and enter the settlement from the south and west, while simultaneously trying to clear out the advanced Ukrainian strongpoints to the southwest. Ukrainian forces are counterattacking from the north towards the highway.
In Orekhov itself, Russian forces cleared the forests between the city and Malaya Tokmachka, allowing them to gain a foothold in southeastern Orekhov, and begin advancing northwest towards the city centre.
