Pro-Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) medias report of a surprise attack on the Houthi al-Banat military camp in the Al-Jawf governorate, northern Yemen.Its unclear as of now if the PLC took this position from the Houthis but pro-PLC medias claim that its capture will open the road for the PLC to retake Hazm, the capital of the Al-Jawf Governorate which was lost to Ansarallah/Houthis back in 2020.
The offensive which aims to retake control of the Al-Jawf Governorate is meant to relieve pressure from the PLC's allies in the south near the city of Taiz and the Al-Mokha Axis which have come under repeated Houthi offensives and missile attacks.
