Parable of Gratitude
I want to share a story. It is simple yet profound at the same time.
A wise man was asked if he was satisfied with his life. To which he replied:
▪️ Your difficult job is the dream of almost any unemployed person.
▪️ Your naughty child is the dream of any childless person.
▪️ Your little house is the dream of every homeless person.
▪️ Your poor health is the dream of any patient with an incurable disease.
▪️ The fact that you are a sinner, but your sins are hidden from people is the dream of anyone disgraced by their sins.
▪️ Your peaceful sleep, peace of mind, affordable food is the dream of anyone who has a war in his country.
