Altman is pushing this World Chain L2 nonsense on August 17 and everyone is acting like it is the second coming. They talk about EIP-7928 and Flashblocks like they fixed the whole damn game. 200 millisecond blocks? Great, so you can get liquidated that much faster. My bagel tastes like cardboard. And they claim 1 gigagas throughput by dumping validation on parallel CPU cores. Sounds like a recipe for a state bloat nightmare that nobody wants to clean up when the nodes inevitably choke on the data stream. It is just more tech debt for the bag holders to carry while the VCs dump.
