Base finally pushed the azul update and it is basically a fancy way of saying they are done playing nice with optimism. The new multiproof thing is just another layer of complexity they hope keeps the auditors quiet. My shoes are falling apart. They talk about censorship resistance but really they just want to control the pipe. 5000 transactions per second is the marketing line but let us see what happens when the network actually feels some real stress. And it is all just code moving around bags. They want to be stage 2 decentralized? Sure. I want a pony. If this setup crashes, good luck untangling those zk and tee proofs while your collateral bleeds out into the abyss.
