Okay so I've been thinking about this community a lot. I've just been observing things too and I've noticed that this community has matured and isn't in need of constant mentorship or support.
Early on everyone of us were separate, in our own tiny bubble, no groups, no communities, no events and no connections to people far and long. That's not the case anymore.
Our community is so tightly packed that something can go viral or trending here. We get multiple category of events multiple times every year. We've ventured far past basic webdev and programming, we've gotten people in game dev, cybersec, AI, art and design, electronics, music and so much more.
We've crossed over from Telegram to Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. Some of the daily apps/services we're using are built right here within the community. We aren't lacking in entertainment with all the blogs, vlogs, podcasts and more being produced.
There are multiple serious and indepth podcasts and shows happening from tech and design to spiritual and productivity. There are tutorials, resources, guides being produced left and right so beginners don't have to go far and long, and also these resources are adopted to our culture and environment.
As a whole we're no longer limited to just tiny projects, we've gotten recognition and made an impact internationally. Knowledge isn't being gatekept but is being shared and increasing our collective intelligence. We've got support mechanism all around us, from community members funding eachother's works, to charities, from sharing equipment to mentoring on personal issues.
We're no longer just a small set of channels on the verge of collapse if one major creator stops creating or if some beef broke out. Even with every early channel owner gone, this community can now continue and grow even more without any support from early creators.
