Kisan Sarathi, India’s largest integrated digital agro-advisory platform, for strengthening digital agricultural extension by integrating expert advisory, weather services, market intelligence and government schemes on a single platform.
📍 Key Highlights:
✅ Joint initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) and the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, implemented by ICAR-IASRI and Digital India Corporation. It uses the Interactive Information Dissemination System (IIDS) for two-way communication between farmers and experts.
✅ Accessible through mobile app, web portal, WhatsApp, CSCs and Kisan Call Centres, ensuring inclusion despite varying digital literacy and connectivity levels.
