CLOSE TO THE END - UPDATES ON THE NEGOTIATION
Today we had our 9th meeting on absenteeism. The negotiation is coming to an end and we want to share with you what was discussed.
1️⃣ Sick leave supplement
- First two sick leaves: full salary.
- Then: 3 first days not complemented, after 4th full salary.
- Exceptions: hospitalization, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, dialisis
- When absenteeism rate is 10% or lower: 100% salary in all sick leaves from day 1.
⚠️Yearly review (changes will be applied after every natural year)
2️⃣ WFH supplement
- From current 9€ to 20€.
- The company accepted our proposal to round up from 18 to 20€.
3️⃣ Lunch break
- Up to 2h (3 days notice if break exceeds 1h).
- Exceptions apply in case of urgent/unplanned situations.
4️⃣ Absenteeism committee
- A specific board will be created to follow up on absenteeism.
- Twi meetings per year.
- Quarterly update on absenteeism rates.
👀 What now?
The news conditions will apple from FY27. Once the agreement is signed, article 41 of the Workers' Statute will apply: in case of substantial modification of work conditions, the employees have the chance to leave the company.
- A formal mail communication will be shared with everyone.
- It will include the agreement and the request to leave the company.
- Employees will have some days (exact deadline to be confirmed) to request contract extinction.
- The last day of work for those leaving would be Sept 25 (to be confirmed).
- An estimated compensation will be shared with each employee who requests the extinction (20 days of salary per year worked, max. 9 months sum).
