I don’t wanna be ungrateful to God, but I swear, I don’t wanna stay here no more. Got too much on my mind, too much in my heart. Some things gotta go, some things are better left unsaid. September 4th. Same shit, same place, same pain. I just want a new home, a new place, a new life— somewhere people don’t wake up with poverty hanging over their heads.
