The heart feels ready to burst at times…
Sometimes from sheer joy at the Ni’mah of Allāh — of Hifdh,
And sometimes from the overwhelming responsibility of carrying His Book in the heart.
Every action and word followed by deep rumination — “Was that befitting of a person who carries the Qur’ān in their breast?”, or “Perhaps these words/actions that are done without prior consideration are the reasons I forget what I memorized later and struggle in revision.”
