ByteDance Scales Aggressively with 10-Trillion Parameter AI Model in Training
According to a report by the Financial Times, ByteDance is currently pre-training a massive artificial intelligence model featuring up to 10 trillion parameters. This ambitious scaling effort places the TikTok parent company in direct competition with the industry's most advanced systems, positioning the model near Anthropic's highly anticipated Mythos 5 (estimated at 8 trillion parameters) and making it over three times larger than Moonshot AI's recently launched 2.8T Kimi K3.
