OpenAI Slashes GPT-5.6 Prices
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has announced massive price reductions across the GPT-5.6 model family to deliver the industry's best price-to-intelligence ratio. The highly efficient GPT-5.6 Luna model will see an 80% price drop, costing just $0.20 per million input tokens and $1.20 for output. The mid-tier Terra model is also receiving a 20% reduction, bringing its costs down to $2 for input and $12 for output.
