Ethiopia is a good example to show how telegrams infra and usage is humongous. It also ranks among the countries with the highest number of indexed Telegram channels.
While WhatsApp has a larger user base across Africa, many Ethiopian WhatsApp users also have Telegram accounts, while many Telegram users do not necessarily use WhatsApp.
