The U.S. and Venezuela have reportedly agreed to a 100-year oil partnership covering 17 fields with an estimated 65B barrels of proven potential.

Up to $100B could be invested in Venezuela’s oil industry.

Venezuelan crude could also help refill the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
