Ahead of today’s NFT Snapshot, here are some important updates.
We’ve received reports from community members whose wallets may have been compromised.
To help affected users, we’re implementing a recovery option that allows an eligible wallet to register a new wallet as the receiving wallet for its allocation.
The original wallet included in the snapshot will still be used to verify eligibility. Before changing the receiving wallet, the original wallet will need to complete a gasless verification transaction to confirm ownership.
Once verified, you’ll be able to register the new wallet you want your NFT and community reward allocation sent to.
You will not need to pay gas for this verification step.
Important: Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone. Ventran will never ask for them.
The official eligibility checker and wallet registration process will be shared through this channel once it is ready.
The snapshot will proceed today as scheduled.
