Singles in Singapore can only ballot for a BTO flat once they turn 35.
Minister Chee Hong Tat said the policy remains under "careful review", with PM Lawrence Wong acknowledging that many singles are caring for ageing parents or supporting their families in other ways, and that housing remains a real concern for them.
He said the Government has "not forgotten" singles and intends to take further steps within this term.
