🇬🇧 140+ ILLEGAL MIGRANTS REACH HAMPSHIRE COAST IN OVERCROWDED DINGHY
A large “mega-dinghy” carrying an estimated 140+ illegal migrants reached the Hampshire coast after leaving near Cherbourg, with at least 30 people reportedly thrown into the sea because the boat was overcrowded. Around 500 demonstrators gathered at Eastney, blocking access to the marina where coaches were waiting. Scuffles broke out as protesters tried to stop the coaches, prompting Hampshire Police to deploy riot shields and pepper spray.
