UPDATE 3:01 PM EDT -- Iran’s IRGC Joint Staff is threatening a major retaliation following the latest American strikes in Sistan and Baluchistan and Hormozgan.
In a statement, the IRGC vowed to inflict “devastating and crippling blows” on U.S. forces and warned that continued American attacks would bring “even greater and heavier consequences.”
Tehran says it will not compromise and is prepared to impose “heavy costs” on the United States.
The question now is whether Iran follows through, and how Washington responds.
UPDATE 3:08 PM EDT -- Iran says it is retaliating against US strikes that were conducted around the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran says American bases and interests across the region will be targeted with missiles and drones, specifically naming Bahrain and Kuwait.
About one hour ago, President Trump threatened that Iran would be “hit again much harder” if they retaliated.
US oil prices are now up another +6% today.
UPDATE 3:41 PM EDT -- Reports that MORE Missiles are Being Launched from Iran.
I'm not sure where these are headed. One source says UAE, the other says more to Jordan.
Also the Kurdistan region of Iraq is being hit.
UPDATE 6:38 PM EDT -- All Three American bases in Jordan were directly hit by Iranian missiles.
American helicopters are OVER Jordan. Some reports say this is to evacuate casualties, not confirmed.
This is the BIGGEST response we have seen from Iran on Jordan in the back and forth fighting.
