Long-term this should also be great for the people of Venezuela since the U.S. interest in the region will ensure Communists aren't allowed to take over again.

By the way, just for fun I converted 65B barrels of oil and it makes a cube 1.3 miles per side. Which sounds way more tiny than 65B. I don't think oil reserves are as scarce as some people have made them out to be. Think about the volume of earth under oil rich regions. 1.3 miles^3 doesn't seem so big in that frame of mind.
