Microsoft confirms that the latest Windows 11 update is breaking mouse cursor settings.
The optional KB5120998 update, released on August 27, adds some useful features, including a movable taskbar and a resizable Start menu. But it’s also causing some annoying problems.
After installing it, some users are finding that their custom mouse cursor settings get reset. Cursor size, color, custom cursor designs, and other settings may suddenly switch back to Windows’ default settings, with some people even getting a huge cursor.
