Open-source monitoring counted roughly 195 KC-135 and KC-46 tankers across the two commands as of September 7, nine more than during the previous count on August 19. The force reportedly includes 166 KC-135s and 29 newer KC-46A Pegasus aircraft, with the largest concentration in Israel, followed by deployments in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. Significant numbers also remain distributed across European bases, although the overall European presence has declined somewhat during the latest rotations.@TPOnow
