UPDATE — Iranian media report US missile attack on oil tanker near Kharg Island
IRIB reported that "explosion sounds" were heard in the Gulf this morning, attributing them to an incident and claiming an oil tanker was targeted by a US missile. The reports come amid previous US threats to target Iranian oil tankers in response to each Iranian attack on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.@TPOnow
