🚨 Balochistan | Multiple attacks reported across the province
A wave of attacks, explosions and armed incidents targeting Pakistani security forces and development-linked assets was reported across Balochistan on 3rd September:
• Ziarat Cross: Forces convoy reportedly ambushed; two vehicles allegedly destroyed.
• Surab: Suspected suicide VBIED attack on an FC convoy in Hajika; one vehicle reportedly destroyed and another damaged.
• CPEC route: An 18-vehicle forces convoy reportedly came under attack.
• Harnai: Deputy Commissioner’s security squad reportedly targeted near Ziarat Cross.
• Mastung: Forces convoy reportedly ambushed near Guro.
• Nushki: Saindak Project-linked vehicles reportedly targeted in Kishingi.
• Kech: Forces checkpoint near Tamp Gomazi–Malant reportedly attacked, with multiple explosions heard.
• Balochistan-wide: Major highway closures and communications disruptions were reported in several areas.
Later, the BLA claimed responsibility for the Ziarat Cross ambush, attributing it to its Fateh Squad, and released video footage purportedly related to the attack.
Casualty figures and several operational details remain unverified.
