Foreign ministry officials netted $3M from visa scam, says ACU
Three since-dismissed Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation officials, led by a high-ranking director-general, allegedly embezzled 12,000 visa blanks and sold them to online scam syndicates for approximately $3 million, according to the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU).
