SSO strikes Omsk Oil Refinery again, over 2500 km from Ukraine

On October 8, units of the Deep Strike detachment of the Special Operations Forces (SSO) struck the Omsk Oil Refinery in Russia for the second time. SSO drones traveled nearly 3000 km to reach their targets. The operation was carried out in cooperation with the Russian resistance movement "Black Spark."

The Omsk Oil Refinery is the largest oil refinery in Russia. It is part of the "Gazprom Neft" group and processes over 21 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, and aviation fuel, as well as petrochemical products.

The plant is located almost 2500 km from the border of Ukraine. This is the most distant Russian oil refinery that has been struck by Ukrainian drones.

For the first time, the SSO struck the Omsk Oil Refinery on July 6. After that attack, the plant completely stopped oil processing and was taken out of operation for repairs.
