Mali: The Azawad Liberation Front (FLA) announces a strategic, organized, and temporary withdrawal of its forces from Kidal.
This move is primarily aimed at protecting the civilian population in light of the increasing air strikes by forces from Bamako and their Russian mercenaries from the Africa Corps.
The Front clarifies that during this withdrawal, there were no direct clashes with the enemy, and it confirms that the fight for the liberation of Azawad will continue with unwavering determination.
The move comes as Russian and Malian airstrikes increased and there was a massive concentration of Africa Corps and Malian forces gathered near the line indicating a new offensive in that direction to open up routes to northern countries.
