In a landmark initiative for Stronger Fiscal Governance, ICAI organised a One-Day Workshop on "Strengthening Governance in Public Financial Management: A Legislative Perspective" for the Hon'ble Members of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly on 18th August 2026 at ICAI's COE, Kolkata, graced by the august presence of CA Rathindra Nath Bose, Hon'ble Speaker, West Bengal Legislative Assembly, CA. Prasanna Kumar D, President, ICAI,CA. Mangesh Kinare, Vice-President, ICAI along with Past Presidents, CCMs and RCMs of ICAI.
With the enthusiastic participation of around 100 Hon'ble Members, the highly interactive workshop enhanced legislators' understanding of fiscal management, budgetary processes and legislative oversight. The overwhelming appreciation received reaffirmed ICAI's commitment to transparency, accountability, good governance and nation-building.
