‘Tanangla’ from Gyumri, Armenia, explores the classic, minimalist sound of dub techno and dub. In live
pertormances, the artist uses analog synthesizers, samplers, noise machines, and - invariably - effect processors with cavernous, spatial delays and reverbs.
Texture, noise, and artifacts are just as essential to ‘tanangla”’s sound as the muscular, weighty bass.
The debut album of ‘tanangla’ will released on the label Crossfade Sounds.
