Singapore just opened a data center that sounds straight out of a cyberpunk novel: it's powered by human neurons.

Inside, you'll find 20 CL1 biocomputers from Cortical Labs. Each unit packs at least 200,000 live neurons, grown from human blood cells and hooked up to an electrode chip.

These biological servers need feeding every three days with sugar and micronutrients, and a special system maintains their air quality. Each unit consumes only about 30 watts and doesn't even need cooling.

The plan is to use these bio-servers for training robots and sniffing out cybersecurity threats.
