— The TPNPB separatist group carried out a shooting attack against the Baliem Valley festival in the Jayawijaya regency of West Papua, injuring two civilians. The Papuan separatist organization also announced in a previous communiqué that they would kill any civilian, Papuan or non-Papuan, suspected of being an informant for the Indonesian military.
