— Western diplomatic sources told Al-Sharqiya that Iraq has received warnings it could be designated a state sponsor of terrorism over repeated attacks and threats launched from its territory against neighboring countries.The warnings followed drone attacks on Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline traced to Iraq’s Maysan Governorate.
Baghdad was told it must identify and prosecute those responsible for attacks launched from Iraqi territory or risk the designation.
