— U.S. Southern Command announces interdicting, clearing, and demolishing a reportedly Los Choneros-operated maritime refueling station in the eastern Pacific Ocean on September 8.Marines from the U.S. Navy San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS San Antonio interdicted and cleared the vessel of its occupants via a U.S. Navy Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat with air support from a U.S. Marine Corps UH-1Y Venom helicopter. The ship was demolished with an explosive planted inside.
