— Saudi-led Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki says the Houthis (Ansarallah) recently targeted “civilian and economic sites” in Saudi Arabia’s Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, injuring 73 civilians, including women and children.He described the attacks as a “blatant violation” of Saudi sovereignty, accusing the Houthis of a “dangerous escalation” and rejecting peace and stability in Yemen and neighboring countries.
Al-Maliki said coalition forces would take “all necessary operational measures” to deter the Houthis, defend Saudi sovereignty, protect national assets and safeguard citizens and residents, while targeting and neutralizing the sources of the threat.
