That's partly why we were so successful in this election campaign, because we didn't let ourselves be driven by this press. We didn't choose our partners based on who the ZDF deemed acceptable but rather on who does good work for this country.
We used media outlets that simply present their own picture, allowing everyone to form their own opinion and freely decide whether or not they want to see it — that's what really set something in motion.
Many people's eyes were opened to what's currently happening in this country, what's still being kept from them. And unfortunately, many still believe certain fake news or misinformation. And that's what I want to address in the coming years.
I would like to contribute to bridging divides and bringing us closer together.
