However, the United Kingdom has systematically disobeyed this call. In particular, we have managed to determine that the Sea Lion project, operated by Navitas Petroleum and Rockhopper Exploration, has a date to start offshore oil exploitation sometime in the next few months.
What does this mean? That if we do not act today with firmness and celerity, in a few months they will have the material capacity to appropriate from the oil reserves that lie under our sea, something that had never happened before until now.
If we allow it, we will be generating an incentive for the British government to go deeper into the occupation of the islands and the exploitation of our resources.
