Germany is seeking expanded European Union sanctions against Russia, the German Foreign Minister said. Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt accused Russia of the attack on Leipzig Airport on August 4. The German Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador over the drone incident, TASS reported. Germany will close the Russian Consulate in Bonn by September 18 and tighten entry controls for Russian citizens.
