For everyone who is preparing for PSIR 2027 but, for whatever reason, has gone off-track - it’s time to BOUNCE BACK.
You still have around 4 very useful months ahead. Don’t spend them regretting what could have been done. The focus now should simply be on making the best use of the time available.
But from here, two things become very important:
1. Accountability
Personal accountability has its limitations. If you keep everything to yourself, it becomes very easy to postpone things repeatedly. Keep me in the loop. Update me about your progress, especially when you start slipping.
2. Honesty
Whatever you have done till now — whether a lot, very little, or almost nothing — be honest about it. There is no point hiding your backlog from yourself. If you feel stuck or are confused about how to proceed, message me and we will work out the way ahead.
The broad target
Try to complete PSIR by mid-December and keep the last 15 days as a buffer for spillovers, revision and consolidation.
• 3–4 weeks per Paper will result in timely completion of the entire Optional.
Don’t overcomplicate the strategy. Build consistency.
PSIR 2026 is now done, and I have discussed the strategy and course correction in detail. What matters now is what you do from September onwards.
Next year, when you sit for Mains 2027, I want you to go in knowing that you gave the preparation your best.
So reset. Start again. And this time, stay in the loop.
Keep slogging.
Best wishes,
Amratansh
PS - Will be sharing some messages I received post PSIR paper soon.
