🔺️ Four places where raising the hands in the prayer with the takbir is legislated:
1. When a person enters the prayer.
2. When a person goes into Rukū.
3. When a person rises from Rukū and says "Samī' Allahu li man hamidahu".
4. When a person stands from the first tashhahud (i.e., going to the third rak'ah).
Hadith collected by Bukhari, Nisaa'ī, Abu Dawud on the authority of Ibn Umar and from the Hadith of Alī collected by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and Tirmidhi.
(Raising the hands when standing back up for qiyām for the second and fourth rak'ahs has not been established, and Allah knows best. Meaning, one says Allahu Akbar without raising the hands in those positions.)
