Two years ago today, Hajj Ibrahim Aqil (Hajj Abdel Qader), the quiet architect of the resistance, was martyred in an israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs on 20 September 2024.
Hajj Ibrahim Aqil was part of the founding generation of Islamic resistance work in Beirut, he was already fighting against the israeli invasion while still a young man in the early 1980s. From the first days of the Islamic Resistance, through the 2006 war, the battles against takfiris on the eastern border and in Syria and the long years spent leading and developing the Radwan Force, he never left the field.
He built the Operations Department from the ground up. He sat on the Jihadi Council. He planned and supervised the support front after Al-Aqsa Flood began. And when the moment came, he was exactly where a commander like him belongs.. among his men
His name is now written among the martyrs, his imprint remains on the ground and what he prepared continues until victory.
