When we go to bed at night and we dream, in our dream-state we often still sense our physical body on our bed. Sometimes when we’re lying in an uncomfortable position, we feel that discomfort in our dreams without knowing where the discomfort is coming from until we wake up.
In like manner, we can sense our celestial body in the heavenly realms while we walk the earth.
The way we can sometimes sense the discomfort of our poor sleeping posture while in our dreams at night, we can also sense the immense peace we have in the heavenly realms while we walk the earth.
[There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. - 1 Corinthians 15:40]
The only reason we can “ascend” when we pray is because we’re already seated in heavenly places.
Today is a reminder that we died in Christ and are risen in Christ. Our lives are now hidden in Christ in God. It if for this reason that we can walk by faith and not by sight. And the genesis of our faith is not our self-effort, it’s a gift from the Father Himself.
[For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9]
